Here is another one of the gold Custom flutes we have available at the shop. This one has a 19.5K body and silver keys. Unlike the 19.5K with 14K keys, this one does not have a split-E. So, this leads to our question of the day: Which do you prefer — Split-E, G disc, or nothing?

If you’re looking for a new gold Powell Custom, we have a couple of ones available here at the shop, and we have lots of photos to share… The flute in this photo has a 19.5K body with 14K keys. It has soldered tone holes, an offset G, and a split E. If you’re interested, contact our Flute Sales Specialist, Rachel Harewood, at (978) 344-5161 or by e-mail at rharewood@powellflutes.com.

Not too many of these… 19.5K Handmade Custom.
This 14K flute has a silver mechanism, so it would normally have silver tone holes as well. But, you can upgrade and have 14K tone holes like we see with this flute. We have more pics of this one in a new album on our Facebook page.
One of our custom flute builder’s work stations. A couple of “tester” headjoints here to use with the flutes and piccolos as they’re finished.
